Overview

This family tour covers Kovalam beaches along with greeneries at Munnar and Thekkady. After the overnight stay in the houseboat at Alleppey, a visit to the state capital and the famous beaches at Kovalam gives a complete picture of southern Kerala. This Kerala tour package covers approximately 1150 km in 7 days

Day1

Starts from Cochin and reaches Munnar by afternoon. On the way visit Kodanadu elephant care centre, Cheyyara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Attukadu waterfalls, Spice plantations etc.Munnar sightseeing and stay at Munnar.

Day2

Munnar sightseeing .Sightseeing destinations includes eravikulam national park (Raja Malai), mattupetty dam, tea estates, eco point, spice plantation, rose garden, photo point, honey bee tree, tea museum, blossom park, kundale dam and top station. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake, rock climbing, trekking (optional). Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day3

Munnar to Thekkady/ Periyar.Sightseeing destinations in Thekkady includes Periyar wildlife sanctuary where you can see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more, mullaperiyar dam and spice plantations tour where one can shop exotic spices

In the evening you can go for boat cruise in the lake and experience the wilderness, Enjoy watching martial arts of Kerala, kathakali, elephant ride, bamboo rafting, jeep safari, natural walk, jungle patrol, trekking and can go for ayurvedic massages (optional).Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day4

Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat.Leaving to Alleppey in the morning.Enjoy the backwaters, scenery and different places for 21hrs in Kerala Style House boats from 12Noon.In the houseboat you will be greeted with welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner and breakfast.Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day5

Alleppey to Kovalam.Sightseeing includes light house beach, Howah Beach, Ashoka beach. Kovalam beaches has lovely coconut palms fringe the golden sand. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day6

Trivandrum/Kovalam.You can opt for Trivandrum city tour or can spend time at Kovalam beach till evening.Sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace museum, The Napier museum, Sree Chithra art gallery, zoological park, science and technology museum, Kanakakunnu Palace, planetorium.Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day7

Kovalam to Cochin (240km/5.5hrs) Or drop at Trivandrum(14km/0.5hrs)

For Trivandrum drop, sightseeing continues at Trivandrum

For cochin drop, sightseeing includes fort cochin, navy museum, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing net, Santa Cruz basilica, Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue, Marine drive, Marine walkway, boating, Tripunitura hill palace. You can find some time for shopping at Cochin.
